What is your origin story?

Two photos next to each other. The first shows a young Mark Franklin 9aged 6) playing ga toy drum kit. It is from the seventies and the clothes and decor are of that era. The photo on the right shows Mark drumming at a festival. He is looking at the camera whilst playing two cymbals with sticks

How do you weave who you truly are (and the journey you have enjoyed/endured so far) into your work and the experience(s) you offer your audience? How connected are you to the magic that makes you, you?

“Personal brand” is a phrase I can’t warm to - it is too corporate a term for something that reflects your unique genius: your humanity. So, how do you retell the story behind what makes you your brilliant best self?

What is your origin story?

As a musician and artist from an early age, my passion for creativity still drives the work I do and brings with it the right brain emotion & sensitivity that is intrinsic to my DNA. My style has been described as 'gentle' (despite the tub-thumping) as that is me. To have the kinds of conversations I have with my clients 'in-authentically' simply wouldn't work - plus why would I build a business doing and being something I am not?

Your inner magician

Who you are, how you show up and how you are remembered in EVERY scenario or at every touchpoint, defines people's perception of you. It is within their perception that your personal brand (we nee da better name) exists.

There is an magician inside of you that knows all the secrets to the most brave and brilliant version of you. That version manifests most (and more often) when the fears and hesitations that might be holding you back, have been embraced and converted into positive emotional energy.

The more comfortable you are with the real brave and brilliant you - the more often that version show up. I lost that 'me' for a while until I stepped away from a corporate world that wsan't feeding my soul and became The Four Fears® Guy. Despite it sounding like a B-list Marvel superhero, it really is who I am meant to be.

What is your origin story and what is your (currently) secret identity? How do you currently bring them out into the world? Thanks for reading
