Are you having a happier year?

Four pages of a survey (with colourful graphs and pie charts detailing results). Overlayed on the pages is a heading that reads "Win a £40 Amazon voucher (Brave and Brilliant Business Owner Survey - 2024)

How has 2024 treated you so far? Are you having a happier year than last year?

"What do you mean by happy?"

I would hope the answer to that is reasonably obvious but to put it couple of other ways:

  • Has your 2024 brought you more joy?

  • Has it brought you more success?

  • Has it brought you less stress or anxiety?

  • Are you more content in what you do (and where you are) right here, right now?

Why do I ask?

I am acutely aware that, when inviting my clients and followers to embrace the Four Fears® of Business Ownership, I am asking them to contemplate moments of vulnerability and discomfort... and who wants to voluntarily spend time doing that, right?

And yet, it is in those moments of reflection and ownership, that we often see the route to:

  • How much better things are than we might initially believe

  • How good we actually are at what we do

  • Where the opportunities to feel happier are

Are you having a happier year?

Is this a conversation you are looking to have soon or have already had? Message me or book a free 30min call - I'd love to know your thoughts on confronting those fears (if indeed they are something that is interrupting your business journey).

A couple more questions

Last October I shared an invitation to contribute to a brief, 10-question survey that explored self-confidence and self-belief. Its purpose was to explore what happiness currently looked like for brave & brilliant business owners such as yourself.

I am repeating that survey this year - it is anonymous and there is a prize draw to win a £40 Amazon voucher for taking part:

I'd be extremely grateful if you would take a look and also share with your own communities. I'll be going public with the link later this week - the closing date for submissions is Monday 11th November.

What's in it for you?

Other than the prize draw, taking five minutes to reflect on your happiness is never a bad thing. I am confident that your 2024 has had a fair number of wins - it never hurts to take a moment and remember those.

You're doing good - of that, I am sure.

Thank you in advance
