Stop Being Stuck

I fell in love with coaching back when I first witnessed a mindset perspective shift in the sales teams I was supporting – their acceptance that they were ready, they were good enough, they did have time and that failure was simply a matter of opinion.
The countless conversations I have had along those lines since, are full of joy and reward for me.
But...
There was a question I would occasionally use in those conversations that never sat right with me:
If you knew the answer, what would it be?
In talk-based, transactional coaching, there is a logic to this question. It suggests (and teases out of the client) that they've known the solution all along. And often, yes, they do answer it with clarity and an element of commitment.
But (again)...
What if they didn't know the answer? What if it was hidden to them.
Or (more commonly), they did know the answer... they've known all along... but they are still stuck behind those four limiting beliefs (the ones shared in the first paragraph).
The gap between knowing what you want, and doing it, will not shrink until you take action. And if you're not embracing your relationship with those Four Fears®, you remain unlikely to take action.
Let's go back in time
We can build up a body of evidence that disproves your fears. I talk about that alot.
Sometimes we also need to introduce some quantum physics (yup, really!) and go back in time so as to change your future (bear with me caller).
We need to explore the origin story behind those hesitations and disarm them – remove the fear at source so that it can no longer get in your way.

You are good enough
You do have time
Failure is a matter of opinion
The more you say them, the sooner they bed in as new beliefs, but only after you remove the 'charge pin' from the original fear.
