Pat yourself on the back... I reckon you're doing pretty well there.

But when was the last time you celebrated your own successes out loud? It doesn't matter how huge, tiny, planned or scrappy they are – every win counts.

Tiny noticeable things (TNTs)

A former coaching colleague mine used to talk about TNTs – Tiny Noticeable Things. Being I'm only 5'6, I wondered if she meant me but no... she was referring to the seemingly small victories that we often overlook but that are always worthy of calling out:

  • Making that phone call (the one you've been putting off)

  • Getting that no (which means you can finally move on to the next, possible, yes)

  • Deleting that old web page (the one telling the world about the stuff you used to do but don't [want to] do any more)

One of my favourite TNT stories was from a small business owner (just starting out) who 'noticed' the extra £20 in her purse at the end of the week. It wasn't about the amount of money. It was about her brand new, independent, self-run business starting to give back... it was HER £20.

What are your TNTs?

Hit up the comments section – I want to cheerlead from the sidelines on your behalf. Or put them out into the universe – on social media in your next email newsletter or blog... wherever the people that matter to your business can find you.

Two tiny noticeable things – two celebratory badges recognising Mark Franklin as a finalist in the National Coaching Awards for both Rising Star and Emerging Coach 2025

What are my TNTs?

Well, it's kind of you to ask ;-)

I was recently named as a finalist in not one but TWO National Coaching Awards

  • Paseda360 Rising Star

  • Paseda360 Emerging Coach of the Year 2025

You can read about it all on my LinkedIn. I'll be practising my gracious defeat face for the ceremony* on Thursday 5th February 2026 because, whatever happens, I feel like I have already won.

* You better believe I'll have a victory dance planned too!!

TNTs... they matter

The more you lean into them, the more inclined you are to look for the positive, become more optimistic, become more resilient...

And then a strange thing happens. The more you look... the more TNTs you'll find.Like I said at the start, I reckon you're doing pretty well there...

Keep it up!
